Der Tag beginnt sonnig und die Erfahrungen der bisherigen Reise wirken zutiefst beruhigend und erf\u00fcllend. Wir sind gl\u00fccklich und zufrieden das erleben zu d\u00fcrfen. Wir geniessen die Landschaft, cruisen \u00fcber die Stra\u00dfe und freuen uns an jedem Anblick dieser weiten, beeindruckenden Landschaft. Eine Aussicht \u00fcber ein kleine Ebene, Fossholl, l\u00e4sst uns anhalten und diesen Anblick geniessen. Ein skeptischer Blick ob sich ein Halt lohnt, weil unsere Abneigung gegen distanzlose Menschen Pl\u00e4tze meiden l\u00e4sst wo genau solche Typen herum laufen. Der Parkplatz ist m\u00e4\u00dfig besetzt und so viele Busse bzw. Wir haben selbstverst\u00e4ndlich beide Seiten erkundet und uns auch etwas weiter umgesehen. Der Wasserfall selbst hat den Namen zurecht, er ist imposant, gro\u00df und spektakul\u00e4r. Das Erlebnis ist spektakul\u00e4rer als die Bilder, so viel sei verraten. Niemand muss sich f\u00fcr ein Bild in Lebensgefahr bringen, man bekommt ganz ordentliche Aufnahmen aber so umwerfend sind sie dann doch nicht.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure nat\u00fcrlich nicht nur der Wasserfall, sondern auch die Felsformationen entlang des Weges, wie auch der kleine Bachlauf ganz in der N\u00e4he. \u00dcberall erk\u00e4mpft sich die Natur St\u00fcck f\u00fcr St\u00fcck den Raum zur\u00fcck.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<li es ist beinahe so wie in einem Park spazieren zu gehen. Der Weg kann, wie wir beobachten k\u00f6nnen auch von \u00e4lteren, gebrechlichen Personen und auch von jenen die nicht mehr ganz so fit zu Fu\u00df sind bew\u00e4ltigt werden, um ebenfalls in den Genuss dieses Naturschauspiels zu kommen. Auf der linken Seite gibt es dazu einen Abstieg zu einem schmalen, felsigen Uferbereich, wo man einen ganz besonderen Blick auf den Wasserfall bekommt.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0Go\u00f0afoss &#8211; Wasserfall der G\u00f6tter\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"770\" height=\"257\" class=\"wp-image-422\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.minpx.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/godafossT01.jpg?resize=770%2C257\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.minpx.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/godafossT01.jpg?w=2048 2048w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.minpx.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/godafossT01.jpg?resize=300%2C100 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.minpx.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/godafossT01.jpg?resize=768%2C256 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.minpx.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/godafossT01.jpg?resize=700%2C233 700w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.minpx.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/godafossT01.jpg?w=1540 1540w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 770px) 100vw, 770px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Wir sind zufrieden und da es zunehmend mehr Poser und Selbstdarsteller zu diesem Naturdenkmal zieht, sind wir mit unserer kleinen Tour rund um Go\u00f0afoss zufrieden und wir hatten zugegeben auch ein wenig Gl\u00fcck gerade ein Zeitfenster erwischt zu haben wo nicht ganz so viele respekt- und distanzlose Figuren herumstolpern.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Am Parkplatz sieht man auch den Grund, er ist voll mit dutzenden Bussen, Wohnmobilen und Autos und die Freude und Erleichterung von hier weg zu fahren und nicht gerade erst zu kommen ist wirklich gro\u00df.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Wir setzen unsere Fahrt entlang der Stra\u00dfe 1 fort um bei n\u00e4chster Gelegenheit, wir sind nur ein paar km weit gekommen, an einem Rastplatz noch vor\u00a0Fnj\u00f3skadalur zu halten, um die sch\u00f6ne Aussicht zu bewundern und ein Picknick zu machen. Kaum angekommen st\u00fcrmen junge Erwachsene aus den Autos auf die kleine Wiese mit einem Rugby-Ei. \u00a0Meine erste Vermutung ist ein Spiel der australischen Version aber damit hat das Gesehen nichts zu tun. Jedenfalls hat diese Rowdyeinlage keine \u00c4hnlichkeit mit einem Sport, eine Stra\u00dfenschl\u00e4gerei besoffener, gr\u00f6lender Hooligans w\u00e4re das weitaus passendere Bild. V\u00f6llig ungeniert und ungehemmt schreien und kreischen diese Wilden einige Minuten auf dem Platz und verbreiten eine widerliche, aggressive Stimmung.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Dieses groteske Schauspiel l\u00e4sst uns also unmittelbar die Flucht ergreifen. Sand und Schotter der auf dem Basalt aufliegt, ergibt einen durchaus fruchtbaren Boden.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Das Ziel des heutigen Tages ist Akureyri, der Hauptstadt des Norden, und dorthin k\u00e4men wir auf der 1 recht z\u00fcgig durch den Tunnel\u00a0\u00a0Va\u00f0lahei\u00f0arg\u00f6ngaber, wir entscheiden uns f\u00fcr die 84, die Bergstra\u00dfe\u00a0V\u00edkurskar\u00f0,abzubiegen, da wir noch genug Zeit haben. Einfach nur die Zeit und den Ort wirken lassen, in Ruhe die vergangenen Tage Revue passieren und die Hektik hinter uns lassen. Hier und Jetzt ist wichtig und sonst nichts.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Es ist interessant und sehenswert und nach etwas Entspannung entschlie\u00dfen wir uns doch die Kameras zu holen und die V\u00f6gel bei der Jagd zu begleiten. Im Wind der leicht aus S\u00fcden weht versuchen die Tiere in der Luft die Position etwas zu halten und die Beute, den Fisch, im Wasser auszumachen. Die K\u00fcstenseeschwalbe fliegt dabei immer etwa 100 bis 150m gegen den Wind, parallel und in direkter N\u00e4he zur Uferpromenade um dann die Fische zu verfolgen und sich dabei vom Wind r\u00fcckw\u00e4rts wieder Richtung Norden tragen zu lassen. Immer wieder st\u00f6\u00dft der Vogel dann durch die Wasseroberfl\u00e4che um die Beute zu erwischen. Dieser Vorgang wiederholt sich dutzende Male und es ist erstaunlich wieviel Ausdauer die V\u00f6gel an den Tag legen. K\u00fcstenseeschwalben werden wir einige Tage sp\u00e4ter wieder sehr intensiv erleben. Als wir unbeabsichtigt einer Brutkolonie zu nahe kommen, werden wir durch w\u00fctende Tiere im Sturzflug mit Scheinangriffen attackiert. Es versteht sich von selbst, dass wir uns sofort zur\u00fcckziehen, um den Tieren keinen weiteren Stress zu machen.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped Beobachtung gab es auch noch einen kurzen aber sehr heftigen Luftkampf einer ganzen Armee von Lach- und Silberm\u00f6wen gemeinsam mit einigen K\u00fcstenseeschwalben gegen einen einzelnen Vogel, vermutlich eine Schmarotzeraubm\u00f6we.
